Magens Bay: St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands
Why not indulge in life treasures? Magens Bay in St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands is an exotic gem enjoyed by millions of people from around the world. So, why not me? When I arrived at the beach in the late afternoon, I was greeted with an atmosphere that was peaceful and inviting. The weather was perfect! While the sun was blazing, the sea breeze kept the beach cool. The palm trees were gently swaying in the breeze. I could taste and smell the salt in the air.
The ocean was a stunning aquamarine blue, and it stretched as far as my eyes could see. The sounds of the waves that glided over the shore were tranquil and therapeutic. It was like a lullaby that enticed me to take a peaceful and restful nap. I was in total relaxation mode and loved every moment of it.
Afterwards, I went for a swim in the water. It was cold, salty and refreshing. The ocean was very clear. I could see my legs and toes no matter how far I swam out. I could also see a school of swift tiny colorful fish swimming by and a starfish stationed on the seafloor. It was beautiful.
Furthermore, Magens Bay has beautiful white sand that stretches for a mile. Miraculously, the sand has a heart shape. It is unique, and from an aerial viewpoint, it looks incredible. In the walking area, there are amenities such as clean bathrooms, showers to wash the sand off your feet and shops that sell souvenirs and swimsuits.
If you are hungry, there is an open-air beach restaurant that sells all sorts of tasty wraps, sandwiches and burgers. There is also a nature trail that is open for those of you who enjoy hiking while submerged with the sounds of birds and the overall generosity of mother nature. Lastly, there are sheds that are rented to the community for various social activities, celebrations and festivities. Magens Bay is indeed a beautiful place.
Overall, I enjoyed spending a relaxing day at Magens Bay!

Hi Africah,
Thanks for giving descriptive justice to one of my favorite places on the island. You’ve managed to capture in words where most of us are silenced in awe by the sheer beauty of Magens Bay. Once again a stellar job.
