Horseback Riding on the Beach: St. Maarten

Africah horseback riding on the beach.
St. Maarten is a beautiful island. In St. Maarten, there are lots of history, culture and delicious local dishes. Upon my completion of touring both the Dutch and the French side of the island narrated by a tour guide on a tour bus, my friends and I decided that we would spend our last day on vacation going horseback riding on the beach!
Once we arrived at Lucky Stables, a friendly employee greeted us at the entrance. The stable had some of the most beautiful breeds of Antillianos Horses. Not only are these horses a local breed but they are famous for their mild temperament and proper behavior when riding. After a short tour of the stable, we proceeded to put on our helmets, riding sneakers and selected a horse. Then our adventure began!
With the tour guide riding in front, we rode through a variety of nature trails with fabulous scenic views of green vegetation and rocky hillsides with the ocean as a backdrop. When we arrived on the beach, I was thrilled. My horse galloped alongside the edge of the waves splashing the water as we propelled forward. Eventually, the tour guide slowed down so that we can take pictures. Afterward, we picked up speed, and she led us back to Lucky Stables.
Horseback riding on the beach was an excellent experience! I had lots of fun. This tour was exhilarating, and it is an excellent choice for those of you who are outdoor adventure seekers!
