Whoa! Clifton Hills is an action-packed street with lots of fun things to do! It is a popular tourist attraction located in Niagara Falls, Canada. Every inch of all the blocks has a plethora of activities, rides and approximately 300 games that are fun, interactive and entertaining. The best part was that they were all within the entertainment complex, Clifton Hills.
When I arrived to Clifton Hills, I was amazed of all the many things to do there. Initially, I went on a self-guided walking tour of Clifton Hills while taking note of all of the activities that I wanted to try. My first stop was the Giant Ferris Wheel.
Up, up and up I went until I made it to the top which was 175 feet above the ground. It was the perfect spot to get a beautiful view of Clifton Hills and the breathtaking Niagara Falls. It was fun getting a bird’s eye view of the Horseshoe Falls and the American Falls. I also saw Luna Island, Goat Island, and Rainbow Bridge. The Giant Ferris Wheel was slow and steady although the compartment rocked a little when the wheel was in motion.
Afterwards, I played mini golf that was in between life-size dinosaurs. Some of them were Stegosaurus, Diplodocus, Triceratops, Coelophysis and of course the fiercest dinosaur among them all, Tyrannosaurus Rex. The golf course had thirty-six holes and a volcano that erupted into a ball of fire every 10 minutes.
There are other attractions at Clifton Hills such as Movie Land, Ripley’s Believe it or Not, haunted houses, video arcades, and a Wax Museum, just to name a few. There was also a variety of gift shops, nightclubs, restaurants, and hotels located in the midst of all the activities.
Before I conclude, here are a few tips. Unless you are Canadian, a passport will be needed to enter/leave Canada. Clifton Hills is designed to meet every budget. There is something fun to do for everyone of all ages. Bring a light sweater or jacket because although it was hot in the day, the weather is a lot cooler in the night. Be prepared to have a great time because most activities are open throughout the day and close very late at night.
Overall, I had an awesome time at Clifton Hills. This place is full of interactive activities and adventures.
