8 Things To Do In Las Vegas, Nevada
On my self-guided tour of the Las Vegas Strip, I saw hotels with themes that replicated exotic places from around the world. For example, with its tall pyramid-shaped buildings, the Luxor Hotel was designed after the City of Luxor which is also known as Thebes. The Egyptian theme mimicked by its interior decorations of petroglyphs, hieroglyphics, and tombs throughout the building.
Then there was the New York-New York & Casino Hotel. The exterior resembles the skyscraper buildings in New York City, and the interior replicated the streets of New York. There were bakeries, restaurants with outdoor seating, and stands that sold hot dogs and pretzels. Correctly, playing up to its theme there were plenty of stores that gave you the feeling that you were walking down the streets of Greenwich Village. This hotel gave me the full city life experience! It was awesome. My next stop was the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.
This Italian inspired hotel had beautiful landmarks that you will find in Venice, Italy. The St. Mark’s Campanile, Piazza San Marco, Palazzo Ducale, Rialto Bridge and the Lion of Venice gave me the feeling that I was no longer walking around a luxury hotel but I was in Italy. The delicious aroma of Italian cuisine also filled the air as I walked past the Italian restaurants. For a small fee, the gondolier took me for a ride on the gondola down the Venetian Lagoon. It was fun!
The Las Vegas strip is full of life and energy. It has something for everyone. You can check out exotic animals at the zoo and watch sea creatures swim in the aquarium at the Mandalay Hotel. Get thrown off a building on the Insanity Roller Coaster Ride at the Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower and enjoy a few hours of relaxation and pampering at the Nurture Spa and Salon at the Luxor Hotel and of course, get married at the famous Little White Chapel.
Except for getting hitched, I did it all, and I had a blast!

Ahhh Africah another incredible blog post. Everything about Las Vegas is just as you mentioned “had/has much more to offer” I’ve been there 2 times and was thrilled at the many things available and the amount of fun I had.. I enjoyed reading this post and I love how you spoke about your gambling experience lol I think you were lucky to win that amount. You mentioned, “You can check out exotic animals at the zoo and watch sea creatures swim in the aquarium at the Mandalay Hotel” this line caught my attention because I’ve yet to see this lol I’ll be sure to check it out on my next trip. Overall, this was fun to read it made me recapture memories of when I went.. and to sum up everything about your post just as you stated, “The Las Vegas strip is full of life and energy. It has something for everyone”

Hey Africah, this post was awesome. I enjoyed reading it because Las Vegas is one of the best vacation spots ever. Its fun filled and exciting and theres always something to do. A place where the sun is warm and the energy is great.
Your gambling experience reminded me of my own lol except I didn’t win as much as you did but it was still fun to play. Just as you mentioned, “hotels with themes that replicated exotic places from around the world” This is very true because I can even remember being in Las Vegas but feeling like I was still In New York when I noticed the theme of the statue of Liberty in the background and the skyscrapers.
